Is There More To It?

New book follows two seemingly different students who must learn to tolerate or accept each other
How will a gifted girl and a negligent boy learn to work together? When they were paired together in class so one can help the other graduate, something surprising happens. Readers can follow their story as author C. J. Regina brings to readers this new fiction, More To It.
Paige Hetfield is a beautiful & incredibly gifted young girl, doing consistently well in school, very kind & sweet. However, there’s a mystery surrounding her. She’s selective who she spends her time with, rarely conversing with anybody. Instead of going to parties, she’d rather stay home. Instead of going on dates, she’d rather stay in with her three best friends.
Steven Axl is even more mysterious. He’s a sarcastic, nonchalant, rebellious, smart-mouthed seventeen year old. Despite being raised by caring parents, he distances himself from his family, only ever showing content for his younger sister, Lisa. He never takes responsibility for anything, or has no concern for anyone, he acts without discipline or any concern for the future.
Steven now must repeat 11th grade, but rather he can’t follow it or just doesn’t care, the road to graduation seems despairing. He shares homeroom with Paige, but the two pay no mind to each other until Paige is assigned to tutor him. The goal was to turn his grades around, but as the sessions go on, some unexpected turns may occur.
This book is available online and can be purchased at online bookstores: Milton and Hugo, Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
About the Author
Born in October 1996 and raised in Staten Island, NY, for as long as he can remember, C.J. Regina has loved telling stories. He grew up watching professional wrestling, playing video games, cartoons, anime, Disney movies & trying to reenact them. As an adult, he has explored many different fields in the entertainment world, including being an independent wrestler (Chris Ryan, “The One Winged Dragon”). Overtime, he realized what he loves the most about all of this is being able to engage audiences & build a connection. His goal in life has been to create something that could hopefully resonate with people, to entertain them, hence why he turned to writing. He is always excited to share his visions with the world, & his only hope is that someone somewhere enjoys them.
